Physiotherapy for footballers
Sprints, sudden stops, turns and tackles: football tests the knee, the ankle and the leg muscles. We rehabilitate your injury with phased protocols and discharge you when you are ready to compete, not before.
Has this happened on the pitch?
- You have torn your ACL or are about to have surgery
- You felt a sharp pain in your hamstring when sprinting
- You rolled your ankle and it still feels unstable
- Groin pain when striking the ball or changing direction
- Your knee locks or swells after matches
- You are coming back from injury and do not feel confident

Running, changes of direction, jumping and striking before discharge.
Prevention
Evidence-based prevention programmes, such as FIFA 11+, to reduce re-injury.

Frequently asked questions
Do you work with clubs?
Yes, we treat players from local clubs and coordinate with their staff when the player agrees.
When can I play again after a muscle tear?
When the tissue has healed and you pass the strength and speed tests. Coming back too early is the most common cause of re-injury.
Do you treat youth players?
Yes. With young players we also take growth and age-specific injuries into account.
