Physiotherapy for padel players
Padel is all twists, sudden stops and overhead shots, and every match loads your elbow, shoulder and calves. We help you recover from your injury and get back on court with a plan so it does not happen again.
Does this happen on court?
- The outside of your elbow hurts on backhands
- Your shoulder feels overloaded on smashes and bandejas
- You felt a sudden "stone hit" in your calf when pushing off
- You rolled your ankle changing direction
- Your back feels loaded after matches
- You play several days in a row and cannot recover

Frequently asked questions
Can I keep playing with padel elbow?
It depends on the pain and the stage. Often you can keep playing at a lower load while we treat the tendon. We will tell you after the assessment.
Does my racket affect injuries?
Weight, balance and grip size can play a part. We review them together with your technique and how much you play.
What should I do if I feel a "stone hit" in my calf?
Stop playing, apply ice and message us as soon as possible. The sooner we start, the better we can guide muscle healing.
