Percutaneous neuromodulation in Alicante
Percutaneous electrical stimulation of peripheral nerves for pain and strength recovery.
What it is and how we use it
Percutaneous neuromodulation stimulates a peripheral nerve with an ultrasound-guided needle. It acts on pain and on the activation of the muscle supplied by that nerve.
It is useful for nerve-related pain and for regaining strength after injuries or surgery, for example quadriceps inhibition after knee surgery.
Used for
- Sciatica and radicular pain
- Persistent pain
- Muscle inhibition after surgery
- Strength recovery
