Physiotherapy for handball players
Throws, contact, jumps and feints: handball demands a lot from the shoulder, knee and ankle. We treat your injury and build the strength and control you need to get back on court safely.
Does this happen on court?
- Shoulder pain when throwing
- Your shoulder feels unstable or slips out
- You rolled your ankle landing from a jump

Frequently asked questions
What should I do if my shoulder dislocates?
Go to A&E to have it put back and rule out a fracture. Afterwards, physiotherapy is key to regaining stability and preventing it from happening again.
Can shoulder injuries be prevented?
Yes. A strength and mobility programme designed for throwers reduces the risk. We adapt it to your position and playing load.
