Physiotherapy for volleyball players
Jumps, spikes and blocks, indoors or on the beach. Volleyball mainly loads the shoulder, the patellar tendon and the ankle. We help you recover and jump and spike without pain.
Does this happen indoors or on the sand?
- Shoulder pain when spiking or serving
- Pain just below the kneecap when jumping
- You rolled your ankle landing from a block
- Finger pain after blocking
- Lower back discomfort when jumping and spiking
- Hard to recover between matches at a tournament

Frequently asked questions
Does jumper’s knee heal with rest?
Rest only eases it. The tendon improves with a progressive loading programme, which is the core of treatment.
Do you treat beach volleyball players?
Yes. We adapt rehabilitation to the sand, which demands more from the calves and ankles.
