Frequently asked questions
Is it normal for it to hurt when I breathe?
With thoracic or rib joint locking it is common to feel a sharp pain when breathing deeply. If the pain is in your chest, comes on with effort or with shortness of breath, see a doctor first.
How many sessions will I need?
Locking usually improves in a few sessions. If the pain has been there for a while, we combine treatment with an exercise programme so it does not come back.
Does it help if I sit for long hours at work?
Yes. As well as treatment, we give you simple workstation tips and exercises you can do in a few minutes.
